Purchasing and Inventory Analyst

Morrison Industrial Equipment is currently looking for a Purchasing/Inventory Analyst at our Central Parts Distribution Warehouse located in Grand Rapids, MI. Family-owned and family-oriented, we are a well-established Material Handling Equipment Company based out of Grand Rapids MI with 12 locations throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana. Then utilizing our inventory management and logistics systems, we ensure optimized availability and timely delivery of these carefully selected parts.

In your role at Central Parts, you will play a critical part in supporting our branches through strategic purchasing and effective management of parts inventory.

Job responsibilities to include:

· Strategic stock purchasing.

· Supplier communication, selection, and management.

· Manufacturer claim processing.

· Assisting users with inventory management.

· Inventory reporting and trend analysis.

· Collaboration with warehouse team.

· Inventory software user support.

Position requires working in person first shift, Monday-Friday for 40 hours each week. Compensation negotiated based on experience, entry level persons with higher level of education or familiarity with job responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
